The peak of innovation in the era of digital marketing – Digitalization 1.0
Since 2000, the mandatory technologies and solutions of e‑commerce, the Internet of information and the Internet of people have been added to the strategic business automation by ERP and CRM class systems, which by 2010 launched Digitalization 1.0, which gave rise to today’s international digital giants: Google, Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Netflix, Yandex and others.
By 2021 Digitalization 1.0 – the era of digital marketing – has finally become an ocean of fierce competition between digital giants and the most successful aggregators – hunters for traffic / users on the Internet – for advertising and marketing budgets in digital, which, in aggregate, finally surpassed traditional advertising and marketing media – television and outdoor advertising.
The clearest indication of the end of an era was the public launch of Facebook’s digital ambition to create a blue ocean of Metaverse as a new digital space into which users’ attention and money will go and finally move within 5–10 years.
